Haiku Contest 2 : Win a Kindle 2

Published on Wednesday, March 11, 2009

Our second ever Haiku contest rewards one lucky person with Amazon’s second version of the Kindle.

Give us a great haiku about Surpass Hosting and win an Amazon Kindle to further enjoy poetry and reading.

Why haiku?

You may ask why not limericks for St. Patty’s? Writing a haiku is easier - we don’t want you to work too hard. wink

“The most common form for Haiku is three short lines. The first line usually contains five (5) syllables, the second line seven (7) syllables, and the third line contains five (5) syllables. Haiku doesn’t rhyme.” Here is an example haiku:

i love you surpass
you make my sites go so fast
happy webmaster

How can you win?

Just post your entry (one entry per person) in this thread, then on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) our staff votes for the winner and we send them a fresh Kindle 2.

Many thanks to Len from The Kindle Chronicles for mentioning our contest! We recommend subscribing to his podcast for the best on Kindle news and tips.
